My name is Mike and I'm from Denmark.

About my work:
I make everything from 3D landscape pictures using Terragen 2 to Photoshop picture, it's a beautiful way of illustrating a specific feeling or experiense.
I spend alot of time creating my pictures because my deepest inspiration is my own feelings and experienses.
I started to use Photoshop back in 2005 I believe, I remember how frustrating it was, my English wasn't that good and all the fuctions were just too much for me to handle.
Stubborn as I am, I couldn't the fact that this "stupid software" was so hard to learn, therefor I decided to test everything and see what happend. As a result of constant failure I began to understand what it was all about.
Today, I'm grateful that I learned Photoshop, it's all from self-study which I'm a little proud of. I began to show my emotions and thoughts through pictures, it gave me a good feeling when I was done with a picture that reflects/illustrates something that I've felt.
Wether it's love, hate, pain, joy, I tried to illustrate it though my pictures. Not everybody understands the messages in my pictures - some people can analyze them and sense if it's a positive or negative picture, while others can't.
I found Terragen 2 by a mistake in 2009, I was very fascinated over these beautiful landscape pictures people were able to make so I decided to learn it myself.
It's still a rather new interested and my skills aren't that high, but I keep practicing when I have time for it, afterall, it does take a very long time to render these pictures.
I also take photographs of nature, it's a relaxing experience to walk in a forest with ambient music in my ears while taking pictures.
As my interested for outside photographs grew faster and faster - I then wanted to experiense the world and take pictures of different locations other than Denmark.
At the moment, it's not possible because of my education and ofcourse the money that it cost to travel, so I thought it would be a good and educational idéa to create the locations that I wanted to visit - in Terragen 2.
It's a hard task to create something in Terragen 2 that you would like to see in real life, but it's a good practice to get better.
It's not that I don't like the Danish nature, I just think it's a little boring. I would like to visit New Zealand, that's my biggest wish but sadly, it's very expensive.
About me:
As I said previously, then my name is Mike. I'm a long haired guy from Denmark (Europe) who has a big interested for digital art and photography.
You have probably seen the few pictures that I of myself in my portfolio (myself) - as you can see, the hair is long and the style is a little different from other people, mostly because I'm inspired by the victorian age.
I love the "old fasion" or the victorian/aristocratic style, it's so beautiful and inspiring.
I believe in old politeness and romantic, I'm single now but I love spending time with the girl that I'm together with.
It's important for me that the people around me understands that I sometimes need to be a little alone, I need to "dig into my mind" to find inspiration for a new artwork.
Many people find it hard to believe it, but it's necessary sometimes to just "let go" and forget about reality and just think about yourself and you're dreams or feelings.
